I'm actually not tarring all liberals with the actions of those freaks. On my blog I'm careful to differentiate Libs from the hard Left.
The quote about Liberalism being the philosophy of Western Suicide comes from the old National Review editor, James Burnham. And I stand by it. The self-doubt, subjectivism and self-flagellating guilt of modern liberalism IS a philosophy of decline and suicide.
Watching Europe quickly becoming an Arab continent with only the most fitful outbursts of an instinct for self-preservation can serve as Exhibit A for this phenomenon.
